SESSION PLAYER
I was a professional session player for 26 years, on Electric bass/ Double bass/ Lead vocal/ Backing vocals, 11 of those years I spent on cruise ships as a pit musician travelling the world many times playing and backing many artists from around the world.
I then put my own band together called the semi-tones with which I toured over eight European countries playing festivals.
I came back to England to complete a four year contract with Ian clarks agency travelling the country backing mostly American artists such as The platters /Charlie feathers/ Wanda jackson/ Bobby vee/ and our very own Lonnie donegan.
One of the highlights of my career is when I passed an audition to appear in the West End Musical BUDDY the Buddy Holly story for twelve months as Joe mauldin ( Buddys bass player )
In addition to that I passed a audition with Budweiser to play all over Japan for one year playing at Hilton hotels. I have played at many charity balls around london one was where i was asked to play at Blenheim palace to raise money for the Royal Marsdon cancer research charity. This was a celebrity bash where I got to perform on stage with the Rolling Stones
I have made over twelve television appearances home and abroad.
I am now based in Essex and am avalible for session work.
